Earlier today I was reading a post about a teacher harassing a Christian student. The teacher went through all the usual arguments to prove there was no God. All sounded pretty convincing until a tougher Christian student stood up and fought back. The situation is fictitious, but makes a point.

Part of the post was about how much evil there is in the world, and how could a ‘good’ God allow it. Heard that one before…Just a few times! The tough student argued that some things are not real, like, cold. Cold is the absence of heat. Darkness is the absence of light, and so on.

It struck me, that evil is the absence of good. Or, to be more precise, the absence of God. Look anywhere around our planet and you will see evil…Hatred, anger, murder, slander. You name it, it’s there. Well, actually no, it isn’t. You only find evil where you find people. Go to any deserted place and there’s no evil there. Go to any place where there is evil and you find people, but an absence of God.

The more we kick God out of our societies, the more evil creeps in. You only have to look at what is happening in America right now to see this in process. They are kicking God out, and letting every kind of evil in. In five years, America will be a no go area for Christians. What they don’t realise, is that Islam, will sneak in and take over the atheists, but that’s another post.

So, the evil is the absence of God. This is a choice. Man chooses to disobey God, and becomes evil. One is the natural result of the other. One day, the truth will be revealed, but sadly, it will be too late for billions…
