I don’t know about you, but I’m sick and tired of being ripped off by the financial institutions. Recently, I’ve had ‘cash flow’ (really cheque flow) problems, so a few things have ‘bounced’. It happens, especially when you are self employed. So, the bank, Lloyds in this case, see that I am down, and put the boot in. Fees and charges are added to my already depleted account, just to add to the stress. You know what…They smile as they do it. Ever seen the Lloyds adds? Makes you sick. “For the journey.” Is their slogan. It’s their journey after profit. Profit at any cost (to us that is) not to them of course.

Then there’s the credit card ripoff. Bank of England interest rates are at half a percent ish, but the card companies are still charging 16 percent (in most cases) some are even higher. This is blatant robbery. They may as well get on a horse and shout, “Stand and deliver!”

It was these very same companies that got us into this mess in the first place. It was our money that bailed them out. We are paying for everything three times! It was our money they lost, our money that saved their jobs, and it’s our money that is paying for everything now! I’m sick of it.

I can’t do anything about it, except write. They say the pen is mightier than the sword. Don’t know about that, but I say, Prayer is mightier than the money men. Let’s all join together in prayer and get the lot of them out. Fat cats who dream up the scams, the so called ‘talented’ bosses who get obscene wages (even before their bonuses). Lets pray them out and get some Christian guys in there who will actually care about customers, and not just use us for ripoff fodder.
